Call To Discernment

Calling Christians to Biblical Christianity. Christians must have discernment in all areas of life in this end time of deception, realizing also that American leadership of both political parties are leading us into the New World Order of the coming antichrist. Do not be conformed to this world. Rom. 12:2. Expose the deeds of darkness. Eph. 5:11. "He that is not zealous against error, is not likely to be zealous for truth." J.C. 11:51 PM - Can Any Good Be On Network TV?

To my utter astonishment, yes. At least once in 30 years. I don't take cable or satellite TV. And even though I can get dozens of over the air channels many nights there is nothing on worth watching so I do something else. I rarely even turn on CBS, ABC, NBC, or FOX for prime time viewing. Tonight I did catch an old 1952 movie on a movie channel and then stumbled upon a special on NBC, Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors, based on part of her childhood.

Fortunately I didn't miss much. I was absolutely flabbergasted by what I saw. Not since Little House on the Prairie over 30 years ago have I seen a more Christian program on network TV. One episode of Little House actually presented the gospel message of salvation in Jesus. Christian faith was a major part of Parton's movie complete with praying, church scenes, and old fashioned hymns. I read one reviewer from The Guardian blasting it for it's Bible based family content. Here is one excerpt from a good review. "Once the movie begins, it quickly becomes clear that this is going to be the most down-home family production since The Waltons." I have posted information on Parton's unbiblical beliefs but she did good with this movie. If she just wouldn't dress like a prostitute. If you get a chance to see it later it's worth it. Not perfect, but a refreshing relief in a sea of TV sewage. How did it get past the censors?
