9:10 AM - Why Real Christians Cannot Ever Become Unsaved

To say otherwise is to call God a liar, so clear is the Bible on this issue. Even if we fail to the point of losing all of our rewards and inheritance God cannot fail and will keep his promises. Works do nothing to add to or retain salvation. They are only the evidence of it.

The PRESERVATION and the PERSEVERANCE of the Saints

God promises to hold every true believer securely until He delivers him to heaven, no matter what temptations or trials he encounters. Though the believer sins, he will not finally fail, but will be kept by God's power through the gift of persevering faith. This doctrine is called "The Preservation and Perseverance of the Saints." We will take a look at each side of this great doctrine. Here is a simple way to think of it: God will preserve every true believer, but He will not do so without persevering faith, a faith He alone gives.
