Call To Discernment

Calling Christians to Biblical Christianity. Christians must have discernment in all areas of life in this end time of deception, realizing also that American leadership of both political parties are leading us into the New World Order of the coming antichrist. Do not be conformed to this world. Rom. 12:2. Expose the deeds of darkness. Eph. 5:11. "He that is not zealous against error, is not likely to be zealous for truth." J.C. 6:33 PM - Does Jesus Care?

Words by Pastor Frank E. Graeff (1860-1919). Mr. Graeff went through some very difficult trials. The period before writing this song was one of great despondency, doubt and physical pain. When he turned to God’s Word, 1 Peter 5:7 gave wonderful comfort: “He cares for you.” After meditating on that truth, Graeff wrote these lyrics. Dr. Joseph Lincoln Hall (1866-1930) composed the music.

Sonny James (1929-still living) sings from his 1966 album "Till The Last Leaf Shall Fall". Sonny dedicated this album to his Mother and Father. This song is so rich in spiritual truth. I speak from personal experience.

Jimmie Davis (1889-2000) sings Someone to Care. Words, music, and singing by the former governor of the state of Louisiana, twice. Before switching to all gospel music he was a secular singer with You Are My Sunshine probably being his most popular hit. In the south in the 1950's and 60's his gospel music was among the most loved and heard in gospel music. He has always been one of my favorites, including this wonderful song of his.

I feel abandoned in my trial. Why does God seem so distant when I need Him most? Is that your testimony? If so, we want to help you attain a biblical perspective by providing a few principles for you to reflect on. We trust these thoughts will bring you comfort and hope.

Does Jesus care when my heart is pained
Too deeply for mirth or song,
As the burdens press, and the cares distress
And the way grows weary and long?

Refrain
Oh yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.

Does Jesus care when my way is dark
With a nameless dread and fear?
As the daylight fades into deep night shades,
Does He care enough to be near?

Refrain

Does Jesus care when I’ve tried and failed
To resist some temptation strong;
When for my deep grief there is no relief,
Though my tears flow all the night long?

Refrain

Does Jesus care when I’ve said “goodbye”
To the dearest on earth to me,
And my sad heart aches till it nearly breaks,
Is it aught to Him? Does He see?

Refrain
